1.How to use 10% povidone iodine?
When using, it is usually applied directly to clean skin or wounds, or diluted for use. For wound care, sterile gauze can be dipped in an appropriate amount of solution and gently wipe the wound to ensure that the skin around the wound is clean and disinfected.
2. Is 10% povidone iodine suitable for all skin types?
It is usually suitable for most skin types, but for particularly sensitive or damaged skin, irritation may occur when used. Skin testing is recommended before use.
3. Can povidone iodine be used with other disinfectants?
It is not recommended to mix povidone iodine with other disinfectants (such as hydrogen peroxide, alcohol). Different disinfectants may react chemically, reducing the disinfection effect of each.
